Pi Lambda Phi was the first non-sectarian fraternity. In 1895, the founders of Pi Lam boldly forsaw a fraternity where neither sect nor creed would bar a man from joining. As stated in the Creed, Pi Lambda Phi has become a living example against the tendency of society to discriminate.
